Debaters, we're finally here. It's the last blog game. I've been really excited for this one because I knew I wanted to do something seriously special with it. We can't just do another blog game, that would not be right! It needs to be awesome.... amazing... a fearsome challenge for all who participate! Well, at least a fearsome-ly fun one, right?! So today we're going through a time warp - we'll be connecting old subjects and new, previous questions and never before seen ones! Our new topic today is: the value of a team. I shared in our final meeting *sad face* how awesome it was to work with my fellow officers, Carley and Mabel, in the creation of this series. The interactive blog games were an idea I had on our very first phone call, but I wasn't sure if they were any good or something we could actually do. Carley and Mabel were both excellent team members. They encouraged me to go for it and shared real enthusiasm for it that inspired me to actually start these games which you guys have been playing for the last few months! Not everyone is lucky enough to get to be a part of such a great team of officers, but every single debater gets to be a part of an also fantastic team each and every meeting - not only with the people on their side, but with everyone attending. You guys know we aren't very competitive here, but there's a lot more to our club's magic than that. We don't just not fight over who wins or loses, we actively and honestly encourage each other to be the best speakers we can. We are all part of a big team, no matter whether we're going against each other in debates or playing singularly in games. That is why our particular Speech and Debate Club is so special, I think. We make each other better and support everyone who gives it their best shot. We are so proud of everyone for not only trying but doing amazingly well! We all care about each other and want to make sure each speaker feels confident and backed up when they click that mic button. And because of that, I think every member does. Thank you guys for making this club so incredible. It's all you. Here's how it's going to work today (SPECIAL RULES): Below this introduction I'm going to post some questions for you to work on. After you've read the challenges you'll have to post your answers in the comments. However, for our final blog game I really wanted to make these count, so you're getting TEN more questions than usual! But don't worry, you've seen them before. In this super showdown today we'll have our 10 questions as usual, AND you'll also have to do some mental and/or blog archive searching to get the correct answers to 10 previously done blog questions from our past five games. Submissions will end at 8pm (so no posts after that will count) and the first person to get all of them right will get to choose their side at the next debate. All participants will be posted about on the blog, but the winner of the game today will be specially recognized as the Ultimate Blog Game Challenge WINNER! Finally, if you've skipped the introduction I suggest reading it because there will be a few questions about it on the quiz! Good luck debaters, and havvvveeee fun! Thank you so much for playing, I've loved every comment. :) On your marks, get set, go!
